Natural stone Overview
Natural stone is a product of nature, i.e. a biological building material with extraordinarily beneficial properties for human beings.
Biologically pure, matured over millions of years, radiation-free, very hard and robust, abrasion-resistant.
Depending on the type of material, natural stone can be used in architecture in the form of slabs (floor coverings, stairs, tiles) or in the form of solid blocks (square steps, window sills, cornices, statues, troughs).
Architecture has always exploited the benefit of
format/surface processing, on an individual basis and in
accordance with requirements, in order to create unique
building works with high lifestyle/utility value in combination
with other natural stone (from private interior decoration
through to claddings covering dozens of storeys).
This form of healthy, individual lifestyle can only be achieved
with difficulty with other industrially and mass produced
building materials.
