In contrast to SOLNHOFEN, it occurs in metre thick layers (seams) so that it can be used either for floor tiles by sawing the raw blocks into smooth raw tiles or for large solid blocks by appropriate cutting to size.
Our large number of JURA stone quarries always guarantees the selection of the best, standard-compliant material upon delivery and additional deliveries at a later date.
The JURA colours are targeted in various locations at SSG in the quarries developed for this purpose - not at random working areas within a single quarry.
We can afford a typical stone quarry for every colour, so to speak.
The recently developed PALAZZO surface treatment (vibratory finishing) produces antique-look floor tiles for renovations.
JURA LIMESTONE is always suitable for interiors and SSG JURA LIMESTONE can even be used outside for claddings depending on the quarry/quarry location.
